Middleeast Valve is the topmost Ductile Iron Globe Valve Supplier in Riyadh. It is used in controlling or blocking flow of liquid through pipe. It is made of ductile iron which has long been recognized to possess high tensile strength and resistance to wear.Â
Key Elements of a Ductile Iron Globe Valve:
- Body: Made of ductile iron for providing greater strength and resistance to corrosion.
- Bonnet: Valve cover that guards the valve internal parts.
- Disc: Variable part governing fluid flow.
- Stem: Connecting piece between the disc and the valve operator (manually or automatically).
- Seat: Surface for sealing that is closed by the disc in order to prevent fluid flow.
Working Mechanism:
It works by moving disc upward or downward in order to regulate flow of the fluid. When valve is open, the disc is moved away from seat in order to pass fluid. In the closed position, the disc is moved downward, it makes a seal with the seat to block the flow. This compact structure provides excellent control over the flow rate, particularly in throttling applications.
Benefits of Ductile Iron Globe Valve:
- Increased Strength: Ductile iron provides increased strength, thus less prone to wear and tear.
- Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to severe environments as well as corrosive fluids.
- Precise Control: Ideal for applications demanding precise control of flow.
- Longer Service Life: If properly maintained, it will be in service for a couple of years without requiring frequent replacement.
- Economical: A cheaper substitute with no compromise on performance.
Industries:
- Water treatment plants
- Oil and gas
- HVAC systems
- Chemical and petrochemical industries
- Irrigation systems
