2 Piece Ball Valve

A two-piece ball valve is a type of valve that uses a ball with a hole through the center to control the flow of fluid. The ball is rotated to align the hole with the flow path to allow fluid to pass through, or to block the flow by aligning the hole perpendicular to the flow path. Two-piece ball valves consist of two separate parts, the body, and the end piece, which are screwed or bolted together. They are simple, reliable, and easy to repair and maintain.

A two-piece ball valve works by controlling the flow of fluid through a pipe or duct. The valve is made up of two separate parts: the body and the end piece. The body is typically made of metal and houses the ball, which is a hollow sphere with a hole through the center. The end piece, also known as the handle or stem, is attached to the top of the ball, and is used to rotate the ball to control the flow of fluid.

When the valve is in the open position, the handle is rotated so that the hole in the ball is aligned with the flow path of the pipe or duct. This allows fluid to pass through the valve and continue flowing through the pipe.  When the valve is in the closed position, the handle is rotated so that the hole in the ball is perpendicular to the flow path of the pipe or duct. This blocks the flow of fluid and prevents it from passing through the valve.
