A Monel Dual Plate Check Valve is a check valve with two spring-loaded discs (plates) that open to allow forward flow and close rapidly to arrest reverse flow. The valve body is of Monel material, noted for its high corrosion resistance and strength.
 Major Components

- Dual Plates (Discs): Semi-circular discs that open and shut with fluid movement
- Spring Mechanism: Provides quick closure to prevent water hammer and backflow

 Working Mechanism
When flowing forward, the plates open to permit fluid passage. At stoppage or reversal of flow, the torsion spring mechanism instantly snaps the plates shut on the seat, stopping backflow. The double plate design also reduce pressure drop and improve flow efficiency.
